{Not 3}

Last Saturday my Macky Pie turned 3! I can't believe how fast that time went by...it seems like yesterday he was born :( He really seems to be a "boy" not a "baby" anymore. He is getting taller by the day, his hair is getting blonder, and he can pretty much understand everything you say to him- however he doesn't always choose to listen! Anyways.

We had a "dino-mite" pool party at my parent's house with some family and friends. There are plenty more pics, I just have to get them from my mom, but these are some pics that my friend, Bonnie sent me. Her little boy, Isaiah, is one of Mac's bff's and came to celebrate with us. Aunt Blair was sure to pull out the silly string to celebrate and, as you can see, the boys loved it.
Aunt Erin and Blair went and bought these window crayons and wrote all over the house- here is what they wrote on the back door that leads to the pool. Sooo cute.

Mac understood the concept that it was "his birthday" however he doesn't quite understand the concept of "age..." we asked him how old he was going to be all week and he told us "3" but when his birthday party came we asked him and he said "6." To this day, he tells everybody he is 6 and if you try to argue with him he will yell and say "not 3.....I'm 6." Don't worry baby, you aren't the only one who is denial about your age ;) Love you so much and hope you had a great birthday.
