saturday my brother and i took mac skiing for the first time. the first 10 minutes were awful- he cried for his dad and said he wanted to go home, but once he went down the hill a few times, he got the hang of it and really enjoyed it. 
aren't mac's skis the cutest. they are actually the same skis riley used to learn on :)
now he can't stop telling me how fast he went down the hill and that he was "awesome." it was such a fun day, but i am definitely sore today. it has been almost 10 years since i have skied (i am a snowboarder) and taking a 3 1/2 year old was a lot harder than i thought....needless to say i would do it again in a heartbeat just to see mac smile the way he did when he was going down the hill all by himself.

that is so cute. i can't wait to take jonah skiing.
I cannot believe he is big enough to ski!!!! It seems like not long ago we were the little kids up on the hill with the big grins spread across our faces. I'm so glad he was able to do it, very impressive! He must be a natural like his mom. We are going to have to track down those dorky soccer ball ski hats and then it will be official!
Before you know it you'll be dropping him off to get on the ski bus!!!
Whatever dorky ski hats Jen!! Those things rocked and made you go so much faster than everyone else. They have like special powers, or maybe it's just the fact that people got out of the way when they saw turbo nerds headed towards them!
